 The School of General Studies was created in 1987 after a general re-organization of departments in the Polytechnic.The School offer IJMB Certificate and Advance Certificate in Crime Management Control, Journalism and Diploma in Crime Management Control. The School also offer National Diploma in Mass Communication, and Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication, and Higher Diploma in Crime Management Control. The School service courses for other departments in the institution.
